PROCESO Y FORMULACION DE BIOCOMPUESTOS POLIMERICOS DE POLIAMIDAS CON FIBRAS NATURALES CON UNA ALTA CONCENTRACION DE COMPUESTOS ORGANICOS DE BAJA ESTABILIDAD TERMICA.
The present invention relates to the process and formulation of polymeric biocomposites, using natural fibers with a high concentration of organic compounds with a thermal stability of less than 200°C. Said process and formulation allow processing by the melt mixing method, avoiding fragmenting the natural fibers (FN) and maintaining their morphology. Also, it avoids using compatibilization or coupling agents to promote adhesion between the polyamide (PA) and the FN, observing adequate interfacial adhesion and compatibility between both phases (FN-PA). Further, it increases the crystallinity of the biocomposite at a micrometric scale, a unique advantage to this technology not possible to achieve with other processes reported in the state-of-the-art, reducing the polymeric matrices. The present invention relates to the polymer or plastic industry, construction, food, plastic recycling, and the automotive sector, among others.
