To support a circular economy, it has also joined ?Operation Clean Sweep?, an initiative to ensure that plastic pellets, flakes and powders processed at UK facilities do not end up in rivers or oceans.
Coral Products said in August 2018 that it had invested GBP 350,000 (EUR 411,000) in machinery to set up the plant. It expects the facility would have a ?high? level of utilisation, with all subsidiaries using the plant. Coral Products CEO Mick Wood said, ?There is increasing demand for this type of facility as improved recycling is an area high on most people?s agenda.?
Coral Products manufactures and distributes plastic injection, extruded and blow-moulded products to a range of industries, including the food packaging, personal care, household, healthcare, automotive, telecoms and rail sectors. The company has UK manufacturing plants in Haydock and Wythenshawe as well as a distribution facility in Hyde.19.03.2019 Plasteurope.com [242054-0]
