Coexpan and Emsur open Innotech packaging technology centre in Madrid

Grupo Lantero’s Coexpan and Emsur have opened the technology packaging centre Innotech for rigid and flexible packaging solutions at Alcalá de Henares, Madrid.Both companies will use Innotech to research and develop sustainable packaging solutions in a bid to encourage recycling and promote a circular economy in the industry.The new centre will allow customers, suppliers, associations, public bodies and universities to work on various projects while developing more efficient and sustainable packaging solutions.Spread across 1,000m² of space, the new centre features a pilot rigid and flexible co-extrusion line, pilot lamination line, form fill seal and vertical form fill seal packaging lines, sleeve tunnel and laboratory equipment.
A team of experts from various divisions such as research and development, engineering, sales and marketing will work at the centre.
