The company said the move is in response to customer demands as well as to meet the aims of a circular economy. One new product that is available is its PCR â??Grayfin PPH30â? resin. It is a grey recycled polypropylene with a melt flow index of up to 30.
In addition, ML Polyolefins is expanding and regrouping its range of products. Regarding its expanded portfolio, Krzysztof Nowosielski, commercial director of ML Polyolefins, told Plasteurope.com that the Covid-19 situation caused the company to implement launches more quickly. Product launches were initially planned to take place this year at â??Plastpolâ? in Kielce / Poland, â??Compunding World Expoâ? in Essen / Germany and â??Fakumaâ? in Frierdrichshafen / Germany, but with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the decision was made to launch all products at once.
He said the companyâ??s production is still operating with three shifts, 24 hours per day and 7 days a week. Maintaining production over the last few months (see Plasteurope.com of 26.03.2020) is seen as a good decision regarding the orders the company is seeing for next weeks.
In the coming weeks, the Polish plastics company intends to launch its full product range, which will include several varieties of black recyclate as well as polymers with different melt flow indices. ML Polyolefins, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, added that it will mostly announce the launch of products online given the ongoing pandemic.27.05.2020 Plasteurope.com [245169-0]
