EMEA distribution of KuibyshevAzot PA 6 compoundsThe US company continues to expand its distribution in Europe (Photo: Nexeo)US thermoplastics resin distributor Nexeo Plastics (The Woodlands, Texas; www.nexeoplastics.com) said it has signed a European distribution agreement for polyamide 6 products with STFG Filamente, a Germany-based affiliate of Russian chemical company KuibyshevAzot (Togliatti; www.kuazot.ru). The German unit recently started producing compounds at its plant in Rudolstadt (see Plasteurope.com of 22.09.2020).
Nexeo plans to carry and distribute â??Volgamid ECO-lineâ? products, said to be environmentally friendly solutions that help reduce carbon emissions and offer end users a circular economy manufacturing option. The â??G6Aâ? grade is a mostly prime-recycled material mix, and â??G6Bâ? uses 100% recycled materials, Nexeo noted. The distributor added that it will also offer KuibyshevAzotâ??s standard PA 6 compounds as well as unreinforced and lubricated â??BXDâ? materials.
