Swiss tire recycling firm taps Buss technology for ELT process
PRATTELN, Switzerland—Swiss company Tyre Recycling Solutions S.A. (TRS) is employing Buss A.G. technology to implement its "intelligent compounding" concept to convert powder products derived from used tires into compounds on an industrial scale, the machinery supplier has announced.
TRS manufactures materials using an in-house process in which TPE/TPU-based polymers are compounded with recycled rubber powder for applications including seals, logistics, automotive parts, construction products and footwear.
