According to the plastics company, the plant is to be dedicated to â??dissolution recyclingâ? â?? a physical process in which the polymers, using solvents, are extracted from PC-containing mixed waste from various industries, such as automotive or consumer electronics, and then recycled. No pre-treatment is necessary.
At the same time, Trinseo announced the completion of the sale of its PMMA sheet production in Mexico. For an undisclosed amount Plaskolite (Columbus, Ohio, USA; www.plaskolite.com) took over the plant in Matamoros.12.06.2023 Plasteurope.com [252884-0]
